Amanda Bossard net worth
When she graduated in 1992 Amanda Bossard began her studies in marine biology in Anchorage from Alaska Pacific University. Bossard began her professional career in the field of commercial fish worker in 1999. She began to work with the ship F/V Sunset which was a 65' halibut schooner that was turned into a tender for salmon for Murat Aritan, who had been working in commercial fishing since. Bossard and Aritan are now married and are working together to claim their place in their industry. Both of them are proponents of saving and profiting from renewable resources in the fishing industry. Otolith was founded in Philadelphia by Bella Bossard who is now mom to two boys with ages of 3 and 1 Bossard. The name Otolith is an affectionate memory of Bossard's deep experience with fish biology as well as her husband's extensive connections in the business of fishing. The two are frequently separated for 5 months at a stretch while they pursue sustainable and financial goals that reflect their commitment and independence wherever they live. In July 2016, Bossard as well as her daughters Isabella aged 12 and son Andre aged 10 returned to Southeast Alaska annually each summer to work as deckhands throughout the summer wild salmon harvest. Following two years of fishing using hooks, lines as well as a 42-foot salmon troller they have joined Aritan and were sold to local seafood processors. Amanda Bossard was hired as anchor for News 12/MMJ and News 12 Anchor/MMJ and News 12 Brooklyn in November of 2015. She's obsessed with telling compelling stories, and is a champion of everything positive happening in the communities she serves.
